| The mail
arrives, stamp sales do thrive.
A Christmas card to read.
It's already December, and time to remember,
year "oh-five" in word and deed. |
Ready for Hot Tubbing - January 1, 2005 |
| With sisters Lez flew, to
better weather we knew.
In Parksville ~ the hottest ~ plus 30 !
Shops filled with antiques, in quilts stores we peeked.
And sea life and sea shells so pretty.

Alec
finishes Grade 9, a Graduate fine -
and off to Grade 10 he does go.
Part time employment, a summer of enjoyment,
making plenty of his own dough. |
 |
A
most famous race, and Edmonton the place,
as Champ Car has graced our fine city.
Volunteering once more, Lez heads out the door,
but no race cars she saw, what a pity! |
| World Masters Games came,
playing soccer the game,
as Predator Lez hit the field.
Amid cheers from the crowd, mom, dad & Ralph cheered real loud,
but no medals were we able to yield. |

|
Life
settles once more, to the usual dull roar,
Gramps and Gran return heading west.
It was wonderful to see, Korynn and Susy
As they arrive and visit and rest.
|
|
Fall changes begin, when
John and Donalyn,
Drive thru on their west holiday.
As quilter "qD" and Lez shop with glee,
Lee and John lazed the afternoon away.

Cousin
Margaret and Brad, Sherwood Park a new pad,
Hence visits from Ria and Pete.
Round the table we dined, ancestry info we find.
With Tante Suus here - a real treat!
|
| Lez heads out the door, to
Holland once more,
to stay with a friend named Yvonne.
Then a wee little kitten, and a girlfriend named Kristen
now share living space with our Aaron. |
 |
 |
Lee
finds his work done, but here comes the fun
- as Gramps comes in the front door.
No time to relax, with chainsaw and axe
- the boys go woodcutting once more. |
| Now it's time to prepare,
and serve Christmas fare.
Our holiday season begins.
Lez franticly stitching, more time she is
wishing,
to finish with needles and pins. |

But
Smoky's asleep on some projects - oh they'll keep.
A new year is coming up fast.
A wonderful year, with some sorrow and cheer,
and good memories to hold of the past. |
| We hope you will find - and
we will not mind,
should your travels bring you to our home.
Just give us a shout, we'll work something out,
or we'll see you as we head out and roam! |

|
All
the best comes from us, as usual no fuss
- just happy to share our good times.
Our friends far and near, as always so dear
- with you we shall share our fine wines.
