Throughout the winter of 2002 and 2003, a busy 'bee' of new and experienced quilters put their heads together, planned a layout, picked their patterns and put together this beautiful quilt. Fabrics were gathered - some purchased, some donated. Evenings of cold weather flew by as the ladies cut, stitched and chatted. It was easy to see why quilting bees are still happening - what a wonderful way to spend time together and be constructive in the process.

Thanks to the wonderful support of our community and you!! we raised over $1000 towards the new playground.
